The Municipality seeks to appoint highly motivated and suitably qualified persons to the following positions: The following vacancies exist within the WATER SERVICES DEPARTMENT: OPERATOR: CLASS 02 Total Annual Salary: R 85 895 pa Reporting to the Area Manager: North, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following, inter alia: Optimising of chemical dosages Changing of chlorine cylinders Desludging of settling tanks Backwashing and cleaning of filters Assisting with the sampling process Starting and stopping of pumps Requirements: A valid Grade 12 certificate N3 qualification in Water Treatment Practice At least two (2) years practical experience Proficiency in English and isiZulu Letters of applications indicating the position being applied for, together with a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of qualifications to be forwarded to: The Manager: Human Resources, Ugu District Municipality, PO Box 33 (27 Bazley Street) PORT SHEPSTONE 4240 Faxed applications will not be considered.
