The Municipality seeks to appoint highly motivated and suitably qualified persons to the following positions: The following vacancies exist within the WATER SERVICES DEPARTMENT: PLUMBER: SANITATION (NORTH) Total Annual Salary: R 134 248 pa Reporting to the Area Manager: North, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following, inter alia: Preparation of specific site requirements with regards to installation, repairs and planned maintenance of municipal sewer reticulation system. Installation of new sewer connections (Domestic and Industrial) Laying of new sewer mains Assist with Vacuum Tanker Services Carry out stand-by duties Ensuring that vehicles, tools and equipment are kept in a clean and well maintained working condition Requirements: A valid Grade 12 certificate A valid trade test certificate as a Plumber A minimum of three (3) years experience as a Plumber Proficiency in English and isiZulu A valid Code B drivers licence is essential Letters of applications indicating the position being applied for, together with a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of qualifications to be forwarded to: The Manager: Human Resources, Ugu District Municipality, PO Box 33 (27 Bazley Street) PORT SHEPSTONE 4240 Faxed applications will not be considered.
