Specialist service providers are particularly encouraged to register. Those already registered are required to update their profile, in compliance with Section 110 of the Municipal Finance Management Act No. 56 of 2003 and Section 14(1) of the Supply Chain Management Policy, should there be anything changed in their organisation.

Prerequisite information, amongst others, for registration includes: Duly completed forms, Tax Clearance Certificate, Proof of ownership and management, Proof of VAT registration (where applicable), Sector Registration eg. CIDB, Professional affiliation (where applicable), BBBEE Status, and Banking documentation.
